After seventeen years the M Roadster convertible top has held up pretty well, but the rear window is scuffed and scratched, despite efforts to polish it. Since it zips out, I could just replace the window, however the top fabric is somewhat faded and there are several worn areas from being stowed in the retracted position:
So, I have started gathering the items I'll need to replace the top. Although there are decent Z3 aftermarket tops available, all of them appear to have sewn-in rear windows, and I'd like to be able to easily replace the window if necessary. I also want the original fit and finish so I'll be ordering a BMW replacement convertible top boot.
